About our club

Background

The Appledore and District Amateur Radio Club, which was founded in 1985 is a small but active club with a membership of about 45. It serves a wide area of North Devon and it welcomes all who are interested in amateur radio be they SWL, Foundation, Intermediate or fully certificated. It is affiliated to the RSGB and is also a certified exam centre.
Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month when talks are given and members can get together and chat over a cup of coffee/tea. Membership, beginning every April, costs £12.00 per year.
The Appledore Football Club has kindly allowed meetings to be held in their club house which is well fitted out for holding social occasions, has a car park and is on the main road to Appledore.
