BVARS 1ST LARGE SCALE DF HUNT

I HOPE THOSE WHO TOOK PART WILL SUBMIT THERE OWN VERSION OF THIS EVENT.I WILL THEN POST THE ITEM HERE.

Location Bryanston School Grounds,Blandford Forum,Dorset.
TX = 5* 3.58Mhz beacons aprox 400m spaceing.
WX = 10˚C windy (am) moist during event ending very wet!.
5 groups & 1 loner went out hunting...all returned!
3 found all 5 beacons (including the all female non radio group), the others found some of the beacons.

Wimborne Orienteers for equipment loan,Bryanston School for location, and those who braved the wx.
Lastly my XYL who had the hardest job of all hi hi.

Just of couple of points the home brew aerial worked extremely well though it helps to read the blurb on the inverse of the map ..thrown together the night before with liberal use of gaffa tape and I hasten to add I wasn't the loner !!!!
