G0MDK ...DOES IT AGAIN!

Chuck Hobson G0MDK gave the BVARS yet another stunning talk. He always attracts full attendance and not a sound disturbed his presentation all evening.His first attempt at this presentation was called off due to heavy SNOW!
The Magnetron... with the aid of a powerpoint presentation Chuck not only described how the device worked but also how it had evolved and the people who had been credited with each stage of its development.
His "timeline" included people,politics,research comunities, and (the then)current alternative technologies.
An early example of a magnetron was produced by a visiting member of the BVARS (G1LNJ). Over a warm drink and chocolate biscuit after the talk all agreed how inclusive and illuminating (radar pun) it had been.
