TONY & NICKY HAVE LEFT FOR SHETLAND

18 Oct 2011

Tony G0GFL and Nicky M5YLO left Dorset on Tuesday 18th October on their long journey to their new home on the Shetland Islands. They have both been stalwart members of BVARS for many years -Tony was among the founder members - and always gave considerable effort and energy to all aspects of the club, especially the fund raising efforts (£1 a bag!!!). A group of us went to their present QTH to wish them all the best - hastily arranged so apologies to those who missed it.
We all wish them all the best at their new QTH and maybe a dxpedition is a possibility.
