About our club

Background

Church Island amateur radio group was founded in May 2004 and is based at Bellaghy Community Hall between Portglenone and Magherafelt.

Our club callsign is MNOLBA. The aim of the club is to promote the hobby of amateur radio:

(1) Providing classes in radio theory

(2) Club Meetings every second Thursday of each month.

(3) To provide a meeting place that has a fully equipped shack where we can operate on HF,VHF, UHF, including Packet, FSTV etc.

(4) To take part in field days durning the year.
