Award of Trophies

Each year, at the February meeting, the following 4 Cups will be presented, assuming that the conditions specified below are met:

· HF Cup
· VHF/UHF Cup
· SWL Cup
· Endeavour Cup
CHALLENGE CUPS
Awarded to a Club member making contacts satisfying conditions stated below.
HF Cup
HF station making contacts with the most countries, having worked at least one call in each of the 7 Continents: ie NA, SA, AS, OC, EU, AF and ANTARTICA.
VHF/UHF Cup
VHF & UHF station most successful in working G, M and 2 call signs so as to spell the name of the Club, ie DARTMOOR RADIO CLUB. In the event of 2 or more stations being successful, the station that has contacts with the most countries.
SWL Cup
Short Wave Listeners most successful in Hearing and Logging stations in all Zones or in the most countries.
Evidence Required
A written, or computer produced, log is required. Log must be annotated to show clearly that the conditions have been met. Contacts can be by any mode.
Awards Committee
An ad hoc sub-committee of the Club Committee, consisting of non-competing members. Non-committee members can be co-opted if necessary.
ENDEAVOUR CUP
Awarded to the Club Member that the Club Committee considers has contributed most to the Club during the year.
TIMING
The competition extends over one year, starting on the 1st of January each year. Logs from competing members must be given to the Hon Secretary at the January meeting.
