The club normally meets on the second Tuesday of every month starting at 7.30pm. When a demonstration, talk or other special event has been arranged this part of the meeting will usually start at 8pm. There is a charge of £1 per person per visit for members and non-members alike to cover the room rental and raffle costs.
The club also hold a 'rooster' breakfast on the first Saturday of the month at a different venue normally starting at 8.30am (see club events).
Plymouth Radio Club has a highly successful training team with instruction for the Radio Communications Examination arranged by Bob Griffiths G7NHB and Chris Wingate M5CJW. Training is available for the Foundation (M3/M6) license and the Intermediate (2E0) license. Dates for the next course at either level can be obtained from the training team.
Full membership to the club is £10 per year with junior membership at £5. Membership is open to anybody whether they hold an amateur radio license or not. Membership to the club entitles you to have a full say in the club and its activities. Contact Chris Wingate M5CJW to join.

The club meets at the Raffles Club, Ermington Terrace, Mutley Plain, Plymouth, PL4 6GQ.
The Mutley multi-storey car park is right outside the front door of the premises, above the railway track near the Royal Eye Infirmary. Please note that there is no right turn from Mutley Plain into Ermington Terrace.
If coming from the east go up Alexandra Road to Mutley Plain, turn right onto the Plain, then past the Mutley Baptist Church and take the next left.
If coming from the south go up North Hill past the University over the hill and down to the Plain, then past the church and take the next left.
If you are travelling from the north or west from the Milehouse Junction take Alma Road to Pennycomequick Roundabout, then first exit past the old Royal Mail sorting office. At the end of the straight road turn right into Dale Road, then past the Royal Eye Infirmary and up into Ermington Terrace.
