About our club

Background

The 2 metre FM amateur band repeater for the Channel Island of Jersey is now operational, the project was funded and installed by members of the Jersey amateur radio community and is intended for all licensed amateurs residing in or visiting the Channel Island of Jersey or even, under the right conditions, able to access the repeater from further afield.

The repeater operates as follows:
Call: GB3GJ
Ident. TX: morse code only
Channel: RV51
Output: 145.6375 MHz
Input: 145.0375 MHz
Locator: IN 89 we
Location: St. Helier, Jersey
Height a.s.l.: 300ft / 91.5m
CTCSS: 71.9Hz or tone 'B'
Keeper: GJ8PVL (Peter)
Please note: 1750Hz tone burst will NOT work on this repeater.
Time out timer setting: 3 mins

Meeting times

The Jersey Amateur Radio Repeater Group meets informally on a Friday at 7.30pm at and in conjunction with the Jersey Amateur Radio Society at their club house at La Moye.
