REVISED SHACK RENTAL TERMS AT GJ3DVC

At the clubs specially convened committee meeting on Wednesday 4th February 2009 it was agreed that the rental terms for the clubs radio shack should be revised and updated. The changes comprise as follows:
1. £200 deposit to be paid in pounds, or equivalent in euros or dollars, this could then be sent back once equipment checks are satisfactorily completed, via registered post (to be checked as to insuring requirements for cash), BACS transfer (potential banking cost implication for overseas transfers) or Paypal.
2. Revised shack rental costs were reviewed and agreed to be revised as follows:
Base rental cost for shack = £50
Cost per person = £10
Overseas membership for each visitor for duration of visit = £10
This will therefore equate to the existing £60 + £10 membership.
3. Payment for shack rental will therefore include club membership for the duration of the visit (for insurance and licensing purposes) plus use of electricity based on metered readings.
4. Club shack rental terms and conditions will therefore be updated and to be included on the club website. The new T&C’s will apply from 1st April 2009.
5. The club membership will therefore include a new category as ‘temporary members’ will be included instead of overseas members for club visitors, overseas membership will remain as existing.
