About our club

Background

The International Short Wave League provides facilities enabling members to enjoy their hobby, to the great advantage to both themselves and fellow enthusiasts.

We are a non profit making organisation, run by volenteers who are elected by the leagues members.

The ISWL always welcomes new members. You can see all the details and download a membership form from our main web pages at: http://www.iswl.org.uk

We also welcome other Radio clubs as Affiliated members.

The ISWL has a busy contest programme for all members. Licensed Amateurs, Amateur band and Broadcast Band SWL's, are all catered for.

The ISWL runs a very efficient QSL Bureau, for it's members to send out and receive cards from around the world.

The ISWL also runs a full awards programme that is available to non members, for just a small charge to cover postage to anywhere in the world.

Several Radio nets take place each week and all non members are very welcome to call into them.

Meeting times

The ISWL members meet each other at several Rallies and Special Events throughout the year.

We also have some very active and friendly HF nets throughout the week.

Non Members are very welcome to join in.
