PHOTOGRAPH COMPETITION
The 8th December saw something different in our programme, namely a photograph competition. We had seven sections, which were as follows 1. Radio 2. Transport 3. Landscape 4. Wildlife 5. 'Old John' 6. Flowers & Trees 7. Open.
Our judge for the evening was Val Williams, who judged sections 2 to 7 and the overall winner. Section 1 (Radio) was judged by club members.
The total entry was over seventy pictures and with a good variety of interpretations for each section.
Section winners as follows: 1. Chris G1ETZ, 2. Brian G8BUB, 3. Art G3KWY, 4. Andrew G7SEG, 5. Brian G8BUB, 6. Ian G8SNF, 7. Brian G8BUB.
The overall winner was judged as Chris G1ETZ with his High Power SW transmitting valve picture shown below.
