BOOT SALE / OPEN DAY AT THE MUCKLEBURGH COLLECTION - ADMISSION FREE!
In collaboration with the management of the Muckleburgh Collection, the North Norfolk Amateur Radio Group is organising a vintage radio / amateur radio boot sale on Sunday 12th September 2010. The boot sale will include surplus items from the museum's stores and the radio hut plus army surplus CLANSMAN equipment. Set-up will be from 8.00 a.m. and free public admission from 10.00 a.m.
For one day only, admission to the museum, restaurant and shop will be free, providing an unusual opportunity to visit the country’s largest privately owned military museum without charge.
There will also be an opportunity to visit the Radio Hut, home of the North Norfolk Amateur Radio Group, which houses the Group’s unique collection of all-service vintage military, amateur, and other communications equipment. See www.gb2mc.co.uk .
This promises to be an enjoyable, interesting and worthwhile day out – ideal for a group outing, for individuals or their families.

NORTH NORFOLK AMATEUR RADIO GROUP is located in the "Radio Hut" at the Muckleburgh Collection, a privately owned military museum at Weybourne, on the North Norfolk coast.
It maintains and exhibits a unique collection of vintage radio and other communications equipment, dating back before the Second World War, which is open to the public.
The Group also operates modern and 'vintage' amateur radio stations, using callsigns GB2MC and G6HL, and promotes amateur radio as a hobby to interested visitors.
