About our club

Background

Our club has been existence since the early part of 2003 and now has numerous members. We meet every Tuesday between 7:PM and 9:30pm at the Pencoed Rugby Club, Felindre Road, Pencoed CF35 5PB, Nr Bridgend

Courses for foundation, Intermediate and Full Licences are conducted throughout the year.

The club has attracted members from all over Mid, East and West Glamorgan, with several members travelling over twenty miles to attend on club nights. We are always pleased to accept new members, so if you have an interest in amateur radio or would like to know more please come along.

We welcome all amateur radio enthusiasts from those seeking the knowledge to those who have already obtained the full licence, refreshments are available at the Club bar and whilst the training is taking place, other members have a chat about electronics, radios and computers, We attend rallies and meet other radio enthusiasts whom we have probably never seen but have spoken to through the medium of amateur radio.
