About our club

Background

This group was formed in 1986 to cover raynet activities from Dolgellau out to Porthmadog, Bala, and Tywyn.

Group Members are also members of the 'Meirion Amateur radio Society' in Dolgellau, website www.radioclubs.net/meirion

There are of course several independent members



During 2005 the group was awarded the 'Dragon Award' as the group of radio amateurs deemed to have given the best benefit to the community in Wales in the previous year.
