Brownies at the Alton Guide HQ set up a amateur radio special event station for the annual Jamboree on the Air event. Of course they needed a little help from TCARC club members.
The event was a great success with fine weather and wonderful hospitality from the Alton Brownies and their leaders led by Louise the District Commissioner.
In addition to the regular radio club members was a surprise visit from founder members Bob and Jan G0VWO and G0VWP after contact with them through 'SUSAN' (GB3RS the Four Marks repeater).
