About our club

Background

Formed in the late 1980s we started with around 70 members but over time we have dwindled to about 20. We attempt to keep our radio heritage alive. When we were bigger we did run an old style RAE Course at the local Tech and one of our members did run a Foundation Course in 2004 which increased the membership by 3.
We never had any equipment other than aerials and a tent for contests.

Meeting times

7:30pm First Thursday of the Month.
No meeting in August and July is usually a Social Evening out of the Club.
