Five members of the club visited the Museum in Dulwich. Over a period of four hours we were treated to a tour of Gerry Well's house in Rosendale Road, Dulwich. The afternoon began with tea, coffee and bread rolls in Gerry's front room together with a demonstration of a working 405 line television and a history of the house. Gerry and Chris then took turns to show us each of the TEN rooms in the house - each packed with radios, televisions, record players and amplifiers from a bygone age - all accompanied by anecdotes of people who have visited the house and demonstrations of renovated items. Then Chris showed us a further EIGHT rooms in the sheds at the bottom of the garden! The whole experience was quite an eye opener !!
The picture shows G6CMD, G3YKB, G1BSZ, G4HHJ and 2E0MMI with Gerry in his "trade mark" white coat.
