About our club

Background

The Club offers training in Foundation, Intermediate and Advance licence classes. The RSGB's registered instructor is MM0TSB Jim Morris,who is the RSGB's first registered instructor on the Island.

It is hoped to have regular CW courses running by the end of 2007.

The Club meets in the Clan MacQuarrie Hall, on the LAST Wedensday of the month at 19:30 hrs. As some of our members live on Harris,two hours drive from Stornoway, we are looking for a suitable venue there. Hopefully, venues will then alternate for meetings.

Please note that the WIARS is NOT associated with the "Stornoway Repeater Group."
