Geoff MM5AHO, and Matt MM1EUI, during August this year sailed to various isolated rock lighthouses for International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend. (ILLW)
Most interesting of these was Skerryvore, Scotland's tallest lighthouse, and mounted on a rocky outcrop in the Atlantic south of the island of Tiree.
Operating maritime mobile, nearly 700 contacts were made from 5 Scottish lighthouses with other lighthouses and those seeking them.
