JERSEY 6M BEACON
Peter GJ8PVL reports that the Jersey 6m / 50MHz beacon is operational once more from the club building in St.Brelade, Jersey, locator IN89ve. The beacon operates on 50.065MHz, callsign GB3IOJ and is currently set up on a temporary basis using a horizontally polarised square loop antenna and the signal generated by an old Icom IC-505. Signal reports are always welcome and have so far been received from some quite remarkable distances!
