WEST LANCASHIRE RAILWAY EVENT

BRARS members Mark G1PIE and Pam 2E1HQY along with a friend Phil M6SRZ ran a BRARS special event station.
from the West Lancashire Light Railway using the call GB4WLR.
It was a great success with almost 100 stations around the uk and beyond.
Mark and Phil did the operating while Pam did the logging.
the day was sunny but cold.
it was good fun, the station was used a icom ic-706, 100 watts, antenna was a 40 mtr dipole at 20' AGL.
we hope to back in 2013.
qsl cards have gone to the RSGB bureau.
