MILLS ON THE AIR WEEKEND ~ GB6MW

THE "MILLS ON THE AIR WEEKEND" IS STAGED ANNUALLY AS PART OF THE NATIONAL MILLS WEEKEND BY THE SOCIETY FOR THE PROTECTION OF ANCIENT BUILDINGS.

10 May 2008 to 11 May 2008

This year Cray Valley members, led by Kevin Jennings M0KSJ are celebrating the event from the windmill at Meopham in Kent. The site has been surveyed and a simple HF and VHF station will be on the air during the weekend. Members are invited to come along and operate - or just hang out as part of the PR team.

There is also a very nice looking pub next door - I expect that this has also been surveyed; but strangely no report has yet been forthcomming!
